On the morning of November 16, well bring together 50 teams of four students from ten schools around Brevard County to compete head to head in the JA Stock Market Challenge. Teams will be issued $500,000 to buy mock stock in 30 fictitious companies. Once the opening bell is rung, the market opens and every 60-90 seconds is a new trading day. Students track performance on event screens, respond to world events, identify trends, and make trading adjustments through 2 hours of trading. Teams with the largest portfolio by the end of trading will win prizes and scholarships.
